Job Summary
Tata Motors is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – BIW Production for its Pune manufacturing facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring Body-in-White (BIW) production stability through effective fixture management, hemming die maintenance, dimensional accuracy, and quality process implementation. The position plays a key role in supporting both ongoing production and new vehicle project launches.

Eligibility Criteria
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in BIW manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of weld shop fixtures, hemming dies, and preventive maintenance.
- Experience with dimensional control tools such as CMM, PIST, and CF reports.
- Proven leadership skills with exposure to cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIW production activities with focus on fixture and hemming die reliability.
- Ensure body shell dimensional integrity through data analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with SQ, VQ, Planning, and Manufacturing teams for issue resolution.
- Implement Poka-Yoke and quality standards to minimize defects and rework.
- Support new project launches by developing SOPs, P0/PP standards, and fixture readiness.
- Manage fixture spares inventory and preventive maintenance planning.
